Housekeeper, Mother Boniface Center

The Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity’s Motherhouse
in northeast Philadelphia, is seeking a part-time, Housekeeper to provide daily housekeeping services to the Mother Boniface Center.  This position is responsible for cleaning services to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting of living areas and bedrooms as well as cleaning of bathroom fixtures and bed linen laundry and bed-making.

The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work a fixed 20 hour per week schedule as well as be available for additional days and hours as the need arises.  This physically demanding position requires the candidate to possess the physical stamina to remain on his/her feet for the entire shift, navigate steps and lift, carry, push
or pull a minimum of 50 lbs.  Additionally, the candidate must be able to handle confidentiality.

DATABASE/NETWORKING ADMINISTRATOR

The Mission Advancement Office of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity is responsible for raising the necessary funds to support the missionary work of the MSBT community.  Our vision is to continue to build and strengthen our relationship with our donors as we partner with them as “co-missionaries” to the poor abandoned in our many missionary sites.  Through an increased level of outreach to our donors, along with the greater utilization of social networking technology, we hope to further engage our donors as we look to expand and nurture our current donor database. 

The Database/Networking Administrator will be responsible for assisting with database donor records by updating information as changes occur.  Additionally, the Administrator will assist with the coordination of promotional events including the production of fundraising and promotional materials.

We require an Associates degree or equivalent experience; proficient computer skills--Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher; as well as the ability to use current social networking mediums such as: Face book, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networks; update community website; valid driver’s license; photographic experience   Additionally, we require strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills; and the ability to assess issues and make recommendations to address new approaches for the use of technology in our fund development efforts.

CHARGE NURSE/NURSING ASSISTANT
                                                                                             

The Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity’s Motherhouse in northeast Philadelphia is seeking part-time Charge Nurse and Nursing Assistant candidates.  The Health Care facility provides daily living and rehabilitation assistance to Sisters who are aging and ill. 

The Charge Nurse will be responsible for leadership of Nurses’ Aides in the daily care of sisters, dispense medications, perform prescribed treatments and maintain personal care charts.  The ideal candidate will have a current LPN or RN license, demonstrate leadership, and be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information.

The Nursing Assistant will be responsible for personal grooming--bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing of the Sisters.  The ideal candidate will have sensitivity to the special needs of the aging, maturity to handle a high degree of confidentiality, a demonstrated interest in serving as a Nursing Assistant, openness to training and ability to lift, carry, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs.

Both positions will require the ideal candidate to be able to work all daily and weekend shifts—3-11 pm; or 11 pm-7 am.
