Trinita Family Life Center, New Hartford, CT

Located in rural Connecticut, Trinita was once a working farm, then a girl's summer camp. Today, after considerable renovations, it is a center suitable for any kind of gathering. It features:

• a retreat house (pictured above) which can accommodate 35-60 people in group sessions. It sleeps 15. The main meeting room can be adapted for Mass or for meetings.
• 5 cabins which allow for accommodations of up to 50 total. Some cabins are winterized.
• a dining hall and modern kitchen facility, and kitchen staff to provide hot meals if requested.
• 125 acres of grounds and woods, including Stations of the Cross and hiking trails.
• recreation facilities, including a swimming pool, picnic pavilion, basketball "half-court", bonfire area, and ping-pong and other games in the Lodge.

At Trinita, our sisters provide a year-round ministry to area parishes, youth groups, and prayer groups.


During the summer, Trinita provides a Family Life Development Program for inner-city families. The program is unique in offering a summer camp-type program to whole families rather than just children. The program includes communication skill-building and spiritual enrichment.
