Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat
Our retreat center, located in Alabama just across the river from Columbus, GA, is situated on holy ground for the Missionary Cenacle Family. It was here in Holy Trinity, AL that the religious branches made their first home. It is here that the shrine we know as Father Judge's Chapel stands as a witness to our birth. The MSBT Motherhouse burned down in 1930, forcing the sisters to relocate to Philadelphia, but we continued to maintain and develop our mission on this former plantation. Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat was built in 1965.

“Come apart, and rest awhile,” Jesus told his disciples. We invite all who hear his invitation to join us at Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat, whether for a planned program to nourish their spiritual growth or for time alone in a quiet, prayerful atmosphere where they may listen more deeply to what the Lord is speaking to their hearts.
We are also happy to host programs for Church groups who provide their own programs.
We heartily welcome persons of all faiths.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Retreatants have private rooms with adjoining bath. The Retreat House is a modern 40 bedroom facility, air-conditioned throughout. It is situated on 1200 acres of woodlands, which provide ample space for solitude to commune with nature along wooded paths, bordering the Chattahoochee River. Home-cooked meals are served cafeteria-style. A new Hermitage is available for those desiring greater solitude (rates vary).
