MSBT Candidate Received ~ February 2, 2017

« 2 of 4 »

On the Feast of the Presentation Agustina Agapito Contreras entered Candidacy with the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity. As part of the official vocation discernment process, Candidacy is a period of intentional growth in knowledge of the faith, deepening of spiritual life, self-knowledge, and in discernment to the particular call as a Missionary Servant of the Most Blessed Trinity. Candidacy typically lasts from six to twelve months.

The Rite for entrance to Candidacy takes place within the Liturgy of the Hours and is a simple question and answer regarding the women’s desire to be admitted as a Candidate.

Sr. Deborah Wilson MSBT from the General Council was present as were several Sisters from the Mexico Local Council for the celebration at the MSBT House of Formation in Mexico City. Francis Ubede, a candidate with the Blessed Trinity Missionary Institute, led us in singing. After the liturgy the celebration continued with a wonderful meal.

We are delighted to welcome Agustina as an MSBT Candidate and look forward to accompanying her along the journey of vocational discernment.
