Dear Trinita Friends,
Living through this pandemic has been a challenge for all of us. We give thanks for all of you that not only donated to last year’s appeal, but continued donating throughout the year! Trinita has done its best to keep our programs going. We have had many parishes participate in on-line confirmation retreats and catechist trainings. During the warmer months, we were able to have smaller groups attend programs at our center. While we were not able to hold our summer camp program, we did host a week of virtual camp with the help of many donated teddy bears! These bears were then donated to our area Salvation Army where they brought joy to many children this past Christmas morning!
“Trinita @ Home” brought many of our past campers to their computers each night for an hour of some of our usual evening activities. The donated teddy bears joined us as we played bingo, sang around the campfire, enjoyed a family gathering, participated in story time, and shared many fiesta skits! We are praying that we will be able to have our traditional summer program this year. This decision, however, will be made in the spring when we receive state guidelines.
As you can imagine, the pandemic has hit us hard financially. We have been unable to host our larger overnight and day groups, and this income has been missed. The Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity have subsidized this mission for years, but this year has been exceptionally hard. We are asking you to prayerfully consider donating to this year’s annual appeal. Your donation will help us not only with our faith-filled programs for youth and families, but also with the everyday expenses that keep us operational. Please consider donating today!
You can donate online by completing the form below.
At this time, we are called more than ever to hold one another in prayer and to pray for our hurting world. We pray for the first responders, doctors, nurses, our politicians, the military, our religious leaders, those afflicted, and those working tirelessly to end this pandemic. We continue to pray for each of you and your families. May God bless you and keep you safe.
In the Trinity,
Sr. Deborah Wilson, MSBT Steven DiMotta, Director Ellen Arnold, Associate Director
