Historical Marker at Blessed Trinity

The original Chapel of our Founder, Fr. Thomas Judge, CM stands on the beautiful grounds of Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat. Our dedicated staff at the Shrine recently oversaw the detailed process of having the State of Alabama recognize the significance of this site to its history.

Each year the MSBT celebrate what is called “Founder’s Day” on November 23rd which is the death anniversary of our Founder, Fr. Judge, CM. This annual gathering celebrates the founding spirit and contributions of Fr. Judge, CM; Mother Boniface, MSBT; and Dr. Healy, MCA. This year’s Founder’s Day celebration was selected for the unveiling of the plaque erected by the Alabama Historical Commission officially marking this site.
