Who We Are

We are an apostolic religious community of women founded by Fr. Thomas A. Judge, CM and co-founder Mother Mary Boniface Keasey, MSBT in 1918. Our Motherhouse is located in Philadelphia and we are currently serving in missions across the continental United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

By our lives as Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity, we seek first to glorify the Triune God. Our specific mission is the preservation of the faith in those areas and among those people who are spiritually neglected and abandoned, especially the poor.

Our chief effort is to develop a missionary spirit in the laity.

On April 11, 1909, six women responded to Father Thomas A. Judge's appeal for lay apostles who would share in the mission and ministry of the Church.

We have many devotions and traditions, all of which help us live out our missionary call.

We are one branch of a spiritual family within the Catholic Church: the Missionary Cenacle Family.

Meet our Sisters, discover how the joined the MSBT community, and read what they like most about religious life.

We remember those Sisters who dedicated their life to service of the Church. Read the stories of some of those Sisters.

A jubilation is a Sister who has served in religious life for more than 25 years. Meet our longest-serving Sisters.
